Nasi briyani near Little India

My wife and I visited an Indian Muslim restaurant called Nawab's at 73 Desker Road for the nasi briyani. I had the mutton briyani and my wife the chicken mandi rice. We also ordered a plate of mutton ($3). My wife wanted to eat fish curry with rice but it was not available.
You can't get $4 for a plate of mutton briyani rice anywhere else except here. A stall near our house is selling mutton briyani for $6.50 and chicken briyani for $6 and they are not as tasty. The chicken briyani is $3 at Nawab's.
We were there on a weekday around 12 noon and there was no crowd at all.
We thoroughly enjoyed the meals.

Lunch @ Hakata Station

This was the lunch at Hakata Station. They were sashimi and tempura ebi and yasai.

Entertained Singaporean friends to dinner

We had some friends from Singapore for dinner. They were touring Southern Japan and visited us for a couple of hours. We had oysters, sashimi, sushi and roast beef for dinner. They promised to visit us again in the near future.

Japanese 2 hour buffet Lunch @ World Buffet

We had our lunch at World Buffet in Fukuoka. The ladies pay Yen 1,000 each and the men Yen 1,200 each. There are many dishes and the whole restaurant is filled to the brim. While there are so much to eat and drink for less than 1,200 Yen, the food is pretty oily and starchy. Although it is cheap, as old people we can't eat really much. Don't think we will visit the place again.

Pizza, tan tan mian and gyudon beef rice bowl

The sausage cheese tomato sauce pizza was from a supermarket (S$6). It tasted good but not as delicious as the ones made by my wife. I can't complain much as it is relatively inexpensive.
The tan tan mian or Sichuan spicy noodles from a Japanese "hawker stall" is oishi (yummy) and so is the gyudon( beef rice bowl). Together they cost less than S$9.

Japanese lunch set

Ordered this Japanese lunch set which cost about S$20 from a restaurant not far from our house. The food is absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the udon set is is about $10 (pic below). It's also tasty and worth the money. Service wise it's superb.

Tempura vegetables & cabbage meat loaf

We wrapped minced meat with the cabbage leaves and steamed it with some canned tomatoes. We also fried slices of pumpkin, green pepper with tempura flour. The side dish is made up of veggies like beans, broccoli etc. There was no rice served with this lunch as we are trying to lose some weight.
