Japanese 2 hour buffet Lunch @ World Buffet

We had our lunch at World Buffet in Fukuoka. The ladies pay Yen 1,000 each and the men Yen 1,200 each. There are many dishes and the whole restaurant is filled to the brim. While there are so much to eat and drink for less than 1,200 Yen, the food is pretty oily and starchy. Although it is cheap, as old people we can't eat really much. Don't think we will visit the place again.

Another day of buffet lunch

Today's menu is beef plus bread, soup and salad at a Japanese family restaurant. The beef is the main course and the rest is "eat all you can" for about S$17.
I love the many varieties of bread they served. The bread are freshly baked in the restaurant bakery. There are 3 types of soup and various types of salads. One may also have cold and hot beverages.

Lunch buffet at a Japanese restaurant

Today, we visited a restaurant that offers yakiniku, bibimbap, salad, desserts and beverages for lunch. We settled for the Korean bibimbap plus the salads, desserts and beverages.
The food is very good especially the bibimbap and banana-cream dessert. We spent an hour for this buffet although we were allowed a 2 hour time frame because there was a long queue waiting outside for the seats.
Overall, we spent 770 Yen each which is equivalent to S$10.
