My humble lunch

Tonkatsu is a Japanese dish which is made up of breaded deep fried pork cutlet. It is served with Japanese Worcestershire sauce or mayonnaise and shredded cabbage. The scrambled egg and bacon is our own addition or recipe. We ate it with white rice and a bowl of miso soup plus seaweed and slices of our home grown chilli padi.

Today's Japanese lunch

I forget to add that the tanhoon or glass noodle is a spicy Szechuan dish. It is my favourite dish.

Brunch with futomaki ....

Brunch for the day with a plateful of fresh garden salad, toast, miso soup and futomaki etc

Baby it's cold outside

It's still chilly outside and so we decided to make a pizza plus miso soup and salad for our breakfast. Can't believe that spring is almost here and the temperature is still between the 7 and 12c range. The coldness is most likely due to the chilling wind.

This brunch is rather heavy. It consists of salad, banana yogurt, slice of buttered bread and miso soup. However, the brunch is prepared at home so I should not put on much weight.
