Sashimi, Kaisedon and Futomaki

Had the above from a supermarket for tonight's dinner. We were given a 50% discount as it was already 6 pm. All the items were prepared in the morning and they could not sell all of them so we were lucky to be there at the right time.
The total bill with a 10% consumption tax was S$8.

Sashimi, sushi and kaisendon

Grabbed the above from a supermarket around 6:30 pm at a hefty 50% discount. Total cost is  600 Yen (S$8). Poor people like us can survive in Japan (not in big cities). There are many other foodstuffs going from 20% to 50% discount in the evening time (most supermarkets close at 9 pm).

Kaisen don

My mother-in-law prepared this kaisen don for the family. Kaisen don means " Fresh seafood with rice". Bought the prawns, salmon belly etc..all raw and fresh and put them on warm cooked rice. It is a typical Japanese cuisine which is super delicious!
