Nasi Lemak is a fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and "pandan" leaf. Nasi Lemak is commonly found in Malaysia and Singapore. The one that I had for breakfast this morning is prepared by Hup Lee,a Nasi Lemak specialist in Singapore. The dish with fragant rice, a fried egg, fish cake and sausage cost S$2.30cts. However, if one has a Kopitiam discount top up card (can get one for free)one is able to get a 10% discount of the price.
For information, this dish sold by Hup Lee is one of the cheapest in Singapore. Tastewise it is quite good.
The black coffee or kopi O as we called it cost 90 cents a glass but at the NTUC Foodfare it cost only 70 cents.
