Discount fruits and stingray in Japan
We got the mixed fruits at a 50% discount. It would have expired on Saturday which was the same day that we bought it from a supermarket in Japan. The cut & mixed fruits were sweet and refreshing. At 99 Yen or S$1.25c or US$0.90c, the fruits are really cheap.
The middle pic is that of stingray cooked in assam or tamarind. Surprisingly, sting rays are sold in Japan but only during the warm seasons.
