Curry udon and prawn tempura

My wife cooked curry udon and tempura ebi for lunch. It is still cold outside and so we preferred to eat in. Besides, the above menu would have cost us about 3,000 Yen or S$37 if we were to eat it in a restaurant.

Baby it's cold outside

It's still chilly outside and so we decided to make a pizza plus miso soup and salad for our breakfast. Can't believe that spring is almost here and the temperature is still between the 7 and 12c range. The coldness is most likely due to the chilling wind.

Dinner at home, Japanese style

Having Tantanmen,Futomaki, Beef Tendon and Mixed Fruits Jelly for dinner last night. Btw, the Tantanmen is one of the best cup noodles I've eaten. It is spicy (Szechuan style) and a big cup is only S$1.10 from the supermarket (soaked 5 mins in boiling water)

Salmon sashimi in Japan

Bought the salmon sashimi from a sushi stall in Japan. It was supposed to be 1,800 Yen but I got it a a 50% discount because it was near closing time. The salmon sashimi is thickly sliced and tasted as fresh as the morning dew!

Whopper Junior meal set @ BK

The Whopper Jr meal set at Bugger King is worth every cent I spent. For S$5 I got a box of lovely cheesy fries, a bugger and a glass of Coke. It's yummy too!

Yakiniku King

We dropped by at a yakiniku restaurant for dinner. This is quite a well known and popular restaurant in Fukuoka. The price is reasonable and yes before I forget, I wish to mention that it was a buffet dinner with plenty of meat dishes etc.
I forgot to bring my camera phone and hence the above brochure.
The beef was below my expectation. However, there were many other dishes like prawns, oysters, desserts, salads etc.
Because I am a senior citizen they gave me a 500 Yen discount on top of usual 15% discount. Our bill came up about $60 ($30 each).

Have you ever heard of lobster burger? Yes, the one above is the lobster burger. It tasted so good and you will come back for more.
