Fish & Co. need to educate its service staff

Operating hour at Fish & Co. Seletar Mall starts from 11:30am on weekdays. We were there at 11:28am, 2 minutes before the opening. We asked the staff, a middle age man  whether the restaurant was opened and we got a rude reply "soon soon!". At least he could do was to let us into the restaurant since it was already opened. This was not the first time we experienced the unfriendly and unwelcome reply. About 8 years ago the same thing happened to us at the Tampines Mall outlet. When we were refused entry due to being 5 minutes early the next door sushi restaurant staff let us into their restaurant to have tea first. From that time onwards we refused to patronise Fish & Co.

Today, we decided to forgive Fish & Co staff for its rudeness and decided to eat in its newly opened Seletar Mall outlet. However, we were shocked at the treatment we received even before we enter the restaurant. We were so pissed off with Fish & Co that we decided not to patronise the place anymore.
Wake up Fish & Co!!! there are many other restaurants other than yours we could spend our money on.

I hate F & Co. too said...

The management of F*** & Co treats the staff badly and this is one way to get back on the management.

Some of the Tampines One shopping mall staff are quite good. The short hair Chinese girl is quite enthusiastic in serving. I really like their seafood feast and can't find it elsewhere.

Fish & Co definitely has service issues. A year ago I was at the Park Mall branch of Fish & Co and they had engaged this live band which was literally screaming out horrible songs into the sound system. It was so loud that the sound system speakers at the restaurant kept crackling and popping.

I told the restaurant manager to get either the band or the system volume to be lowered. Manager spoke to the live band. After that, they started to sing in pseudo high-pitch tones and remarked, over the sound system, that some customers couldn't cope with their volume so they would now sing in the high-pitch tones.

Live band clearly was trying to be sarcastic. I wrote and posted a letter to the CEO (understand he used to be an SQ CC). CEO ignored my letter. Guess he has forgotten all that he learnt from his SQ days.
